It’s a job that millions of music fans around the world would die for. But now ITV’s This Morning has revealed it has filled its vacancy for a Taylor Swift correspondent.

American influencer Tyler Conroy is a big fan of the pop singer, even though he was once almost hit by her tour bus. Starting tomorrow he will bring viewers the latest news and opinions on the billionaire superstar.

The pundit will be a regular on the ITV show in the run-up to the 14-time Grammy winner’s Eras UK tour, which begins in June.

A This Morning source said: ‘Taylor is a social phenomenon and people can’t get enough of her.

‘Just as there are other specialists who bring viewers the latest in their fields, there will now be an expert in Taylor. “It’s a first for the UK and it’s very exciting.”

Conroy, 31, born in Massachusetts, has followed Swift since 2008. At age 15, he began taking guitar lessons so he could learn how to play every song on her second album, Fearless.
