Vanessa Bryant’s Valentine’s Message to Kobe Bryant

When Kobe Bryant left his world, he created a massive gap that no one could ever fill. The Black Mamba was one of the most influential players in NBA history due to his mentality, competitiveness, all of his abilities on the court, and the accomplishments he accumulated throughout his career.

His family, like many of his fans across the world, was devastated when the Los Angeles Lakers icon died in a catastrophic helicopter crash in January 2020 while traveling to a basketball game with his daughter Gianna and seven others.

Everyone has done their part to honor Kobe, and his wife Vanessa has taken every opportunity to remember him on key occasions. Vanessa Bryant usually posts a beautiful message on social media to honor Kobe, whether it’s his birthday, Father’s Day, or Valentine’s Day.

This year was not an exception. Vanessa’s life hasn’t changed in two years since Kobe died. The 41-year-old took to Instagram to post a photo of herself with Kobe, along with a brief yet heartfelt statement. She wrote “I love you, Happy Valentine’s Day”.

Seeing (or writing) something about Kobe is always upsetting. The five-time NBA champion left a lasting impression on the game and those who witnessed him play. Kobe is a legend both on and off the court. Even though he achieved success in all he did, his duty as a father and husband was the most important to him, and he never stopped striving to improve.

Wherever he is, we hope Kobe can feel the love that people show him every day. His wife is constantly sure to celebrate him and their relationship, which is wonderful to watch.
