Travis Kelce Discusses Rejecting VIP Tickets at Coachella

Taylor Swift's 'Little Move' When Seeing Travis Kelce Goes Viral

After filming with Taylor Swift at Coachella last weekend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce discussed the pleasure of being there and enjoying it all in with the public rather than attempting to secure their own viewing space from backstage.

On the most recent episode of New Heights, presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment, Kelce stated that he wanted to view the program “from the front of the stage” rather than in a different section.

“I like to see it from the fans’ perspective, like, the people that actually… because I am, I’m a fan of the music,” he stated (h/t Sophie Schillaci of ETOnline.com). “I enjoy live shows. I believe it’s much more of an experience if you’re in the pit, man if you’re in the madness with all the fans.”.

Fan videos and photos showed the power couple in the crowd dancing to tunes by Ice Spice and Bleachers. Bleachers is the band led by Jack Antonoff, who has written songs and produced Taylor Swift’s albums since 2013. Kelce stated that Antonoff and Bleachers “absolutely ripped it, and I had so much fun seeing him go nuts with the guitar and all his boys.”

Coachella’s first weekend took place from April 12-14 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The second weekend will begin on Friday and continue through Sunday. Kelce is in the midst of his offseason, and the Chiefs will begin phase one of their voluntary offseason exercise program on Monday. Phase two will take place later this month, with phase three and organized team activities beginning on May 20.

Swift is on pause from the Eras Tour until May 9, when she will perform at the Paris La Défense Arena in France. Her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, will be released on Friday.
