Ravens Are Showing A Concerning Trend In Their Losses This Season

The Baltimore Ravens have steamrolled past most of their opposition. However, as dominant as they’ve been, they have been far from flawless late in games.

As shown in a graphic shared by FOX Sports: NFL, all three of their losses have come after blowing a lead in the fourth quarter.

They led the Indianapolis Colts, 19-16, with 2:00 left to play before losing by a final of 22-19 in overtime. They led the Pittsburgh Steelers, 10-3, entering the final 15 minutes and then lost, 17-10. And they led the Cleveland Browns, 31-17, with 11 minutes left in the game before losing by a final of 33-31.

John Harbaugh hasn’t done a good job of managing the clock in late-game situations, and their offense has been rather conservative and not as explosive late in games.

Of course, they have shown the potential to shut down their rivals on both sides of the field, but they’ve taken their foot off the gas early multiple times already.

The Ravens should still be considered one of the strongest candidates to come out of the AFC, but losing that way to two divisional rivals should raise plenty of concerns within the coaching staff.

NFL teams need to keep the intensity up, especially in crucial situations. And while it will take a lot to beat this team on any given day, you want them to be mentally prepared for the playoffs, especially considering how much they’ve struggled to get the job done as soon as the regular season ends, even when Lamar Jackson has been healthy.
