Rams Announce Three Roster Moves

The Rams announced three moves Saturday, activating RB Kyren Williams and DB Jason Taylor II from injured reserve. The team also waived OT Zachary Thomas in a corresponding move.



Williams, 23, was a fifth-round pick out of Notre Dame in this year’s draft. He signed his four-year, $3,970,404 rookie deal with the Rams.





In 2023, Williams has appeared in six games for the Rams and rushed for 456 yards on 97 carries (4.7 YPC) to go along with 13 receptions for 105 yards receiving and seven total touchdowns.

Taylor was born and grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and attended Carl Albert High School. He was named the state Defensive Player of the Year by The Oklahoman as a senior after intercepting nine passes.



Taylor made 99 tackles with six interceptions as a redshirt senior and was named first team All-Big 12 and a second team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.

After the season he announced that he would enter the 2023 NFL Draft. Taylor was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the seventh round, 234th overall, of the 2023 NFL Draft.[10] He was placed on injured reserve on September 15, 2023
