Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is busy preparing for the week 11 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. One offensive weapon to worry about is wide receiver Keenan Allen. He has been on a tear lately and in a recent interview, LaFleur said that Allen reminds him of Packers legend Davante Adams.
LaFleur on Keenan Allen: “There’s a lot of elements to his game that remind me of Davante.” #Packers #LACvsGB

“There’s a lot of elements to his game that remind me of Davante,” LaFleur said in his press conference today. Allen certainly has had a storied career. He just crossed 10,000 career receiving yards something the always-entertaining Chargers social media team recognized with a two-hour-long video of every yard”.
“Allen’s career has often been marred by weird injuries and playing on a chronically underperforming team. However, his connection with Justin Herbert this season has made him a problem for opposing defenses.
It will be a difficult effort, especially given the status of the defense. Jaire Alexander returned to practice today, but it’s uncertain if he’ll be ready for Sunday. While Carrington Valentine and Corey Ballentine performed admirably on Sunday, Allen is a wise veteran who can make rookie corners seem foolish.
Over the next three games, the Packers face the Chargers and Chiefs at Lambeau Field, as well as a Thanksgiving clash in Detriot. Holding Allen to a mediocre performance would be a major confidence booster heading into the remaining two games.
LaFleur and Joe Barry have a lot of work ahead of them. If Jordan Love and the offense continue to improve, this could turn into an offensive shootout.
