One team that made arguably the biggest statement in the NFL in Week 7 so far is the Baltimore Ravens, who were able to get the best of a very good Detroit Lions team in convincing fashion on Sunday.
The Ravens not only got the win over the Lions, who have been one of the best all-around teams in the NFC, but they crushed Jared Goff and company, dropping 38 points on Detroit while only giving up six.
As a result of the win over the Lions, the Ravens remain atop the AFC North division standings with a record of 5-2. Even though the Ravens have hit some bumps in the road this season with losses to the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers while dealing with numerous injuries, this game was a statement win for Baltimore.
However, superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson doesn’t see it that way, as he views the win as just another game in the regular season via NFL on ESPN.
“It’s just one regular season game.” Jackson said after the win. he main reason for the Ravens’ success on Sunday was Jackson getting things going both through the air and on the ground.

He threw for three touchdowns and scored a rushing touchdown as well. Jackson connected with star tight end Mark Andrews twice in the end zone while also being able to spread the ball around all day long, with five receivers, including Odell Beckham Jr. (5) and Zay Flowers (4), catching two or more passes.
If the Ravens can keep this up, Baltimore could develop into a serious title contender in the AFC.
