Kylie Kelce, the wife of retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, offered a surprisingly honest story on Friday in reaction to persistent pregnancy speculation. Kylie Kelce confessed that she had a miscarriage while addressing lingering pregnancy rumors about her and her family. Kelce shared an emotional TikTok video in which she broke her silence over the widespread online rumors that she was pregnant with another child.
The former wide receiver for the Eagles took to TikTok to denounce the persistent reporting that has been spreading the story that she may be expecting her fourth child with husband Jason Kelce “since the middle of last football season.” She confirmed earlier this year that she hasn’t been pregnant since giving birth to her third daughter, Bennett, who is “almost a year and a half old.”
In the video that was posted on social media late on Friday, July 19, she made a direct statement. Kylie said “I have kept my mouth shut on this for quite some time now, and my lack of filter is kicking in, We’re just going to nip this in the bud. I have had a number of articles written about me since the middle of last football season stating that I am pregnant. I’m not. I haven’t been pregnant since I gave birth to Bennie, and she is almost a year and a half old.”
The ardent Eagles supporter disclosed that she experienced a miscarriage prior to giving birth to her first child, Wyatt, 4, as an ultrasound at 13 weeks revealed the absence of a heartbeat. She was consequently required to have a D&E. “I cannot stand people writing such insensitive articles about such a sensitive topic,” continued Kelce.
@kyliekelce ***Trigger warning: pregnancy loss. I have been congratulated in person multiple times. I have been questioned by strangers. Most aggressively, I was DM’d by a random woman asking “did you have a miscarriage?” because one of the news outlets that said I was pregnant doubled back and claimed I hadn’t announced it because I had had a miscarriage. Let’s do better.
“Really lights my fire. I had a miscarriage before Wyatt, I went in for my 13-week ultrasound, there was no heartbeat. And I had to have a DNA a few days later. So I do not take getting pregnant or trying to get pregnant lightly. And I think that we need to just be in agreement that this is not a topic that anyone needs to be first on reporting. Let the parents say it when they are good and ready.”
Since their 2018 wedding, Kylie and Jason have become parents to three daughters: Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, who was born in 2023, not long after the Eagles and Chiefs played in Super Bowl LVII.
