Inside Travis Kelce’s 17000sqft Home

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently upgraded his living condition, purchasing a 17,000-square-foot estate in the upscale community of Leawood, Kansas. Kelce appears to have gotten a good deal on this home, which was originally offered for $6.9 million in September 2022 and is now pending sale for $6 million.

The large mansion is located inside a gated community and sits on roughly 3.5 acres at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Kelce’s latest land acquisition is significantly more remote than his previous home in Kansas City, a 4,200-square-foot home in the city’s Briarcliff West neighborhood that he paid $995,000 for in 2019.

Kelce has been romantically linked to Taylor Swift since late September and has become a paparazzi magnet, especially when the pop diva is expected to attend a home game.

Swift has flown to Kansas City twice to watch her new lover play, and the couple’s arrivals and departures have received a lot of attention. And fans hoping to catch a sight of the couple have reportedly begun visiting Kelce’s former home, which is plainly visible from the street.

Last week, there were whispers that Swift was in town trying to buy a home in Kansas City. Of course, we now know that Kelce made the large real estate purchase. Attention from fans and paps alike made Kelce realize he needed a less accessible abode.

Kelce established himself in the NFL well before his recent romance with the world’s most famous pop artist. He won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs and signed a four-year contract extension worth $57 million. He now owns a beautiful estate that reflects his success.

The six-bedroom, six-bathroom estate has a gated entrance that leads to a magnificent circular driveway. The interior is an entertainer’s dream, featuring a chef’s kitchen, formal dining room, cinema area, wine cellar, and full bar.

Outside, the large backyard features a “Beverly Hills-style” pool area with plenty of room for lounge chairs, umbrellas, and pool toys.

There’s also an outdoor kitchen, tennis and pickleball courts, a waterfall, a hot tub, and a miniature golf course. We anticipate a pool party or two in the future. Perhaps Swift’s annual Fourth of July celebration will be held in Kansas in 2024? If not, we can always propose a song title for a future album: “I Left My Love in Leawood.”
