Adorable Elden Ring Animation Uses Taylor Swift Song to Retell Miquella's Story

An Elden Ring fan has created a unique and adorable animated video that depicts Miquella’s story from the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, with the song “Mastermind” by Taylor Swift used to great effect.

While the video itself is a brilliant display of creativity and adulation for the Elden Ring franchise, the song serves as icing on the cake since it aligns quite well with Miquella’s story.

The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has given a completely new dynamic to the Elden Ring lore. While the likes of Mohg looked evil in Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree showed that Miquella was the one planning it all along.

Elden Ring’s storyline can be a bit complicated to understand at first, and a fan has given it a unique touch by retelling it in a delightful way.

In a new video, YouTuber Nate Sandhart showcases one of the best Elden Ring fan creations to date. The video portrays Miquella’s story in animated form, with the character performing the song “Mastermind” by Taylor Swift as events play out.

The title of the song itself is quite fitting for Elden Ring’s Miquella, considering that he had a treacherous plan set in order to become a god, which involved manipulating the likes of Mohg, Lord of Blood to get what he desires.

However, that’s not the only reason why this song seems perfect for the story, as the lyrics also fit in quite well.

The video starts off with Miquella being impressed with Radahn and asking him to be his Promised Consort, with the lyrics “.. And all the stars aligned, you and I ended up in the same room, at the same time” playing in the background.

Radahn’s connection with stars is well known in the Elden Ring lore, as he is the one who uses gravitational magic to stop the stars to protect Sellia, Town of Sorcery in Elden Ring.

Then, the video shows Miquella devising his plan of using Radahn and Mohg, and even that moment syncs perfectly with the “Checkmate, I couldn’t lose” portion of the song.

The meticulousness of the video is something truly special. For instance, there is a moment that portrays Miquella’s plans on a drawing board, and each of them is relevant to the lore, including the nod to Elden Ring’s Godwyn.

Another noteworthy moment is when the video showcases Mohg kidnapping Miquella and the song goes “It was all my design, ‘Cause I am a mastermind.” Based on the comments, Elden Ring fans are in awe of the effort that went into this creation and how effectively it retells such an intricate storyline.
